Ballard Historical Society’s home tour will feature 2 homes in East Ballard this year

A home probably not on the tour, but nonetheless, a classic tudor home in East Ballard

I just got an email from Kris at the Ballard Historical Society saying that this year’s Classic Ballard Homes Tour is going to feature 2 homes from East Ballard.  This will be a first! She’s keeping their locations secret until the day of the event which is just killing me!

They’re looking for some volunteers to be docents for their tour on Sunday June 6. If you volunteer for a shift, you get a free ticket to see the other lovely, vintage homes built between 1909 and 1929 that are on this year’s tour.
The morning shift is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; the afternoon shift is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

There’s also a docent training meeting on Tuesday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m.  with hors d’oeuvres and an opportunity to get to meet the Classic Home Tour homeowners.

This sounds like a great opportunity to show some East Ballard pride and get a free ticket to tour the neighborhood! If you’re interested, please contact Lesli Billings at 206-992-7010.

If you can’t volunteer, but you still want to go on the tour, check out the Ballard Historical Society’s Events Page for ticket details.
