Ballard City Hall's bell may ring again thanks to the Ballard Historical Society

The Ballard Historical Society is a great little  gem in our community and has been a great resource to the ebca for some of our projects in the past.  When Kris Royer Collins asked me to share the news that they’re coming into the digital age with a new blog, I didn’t hesitate in saying yes.

It looks like it’s going to be a great resource for learning about the history of Ballard and keeping up to date on the what’s going on in the historical society’s projects. They’ve most recently applied for a grant to have an automated mechanism so that the City Hall bell at 22nd Ave and Ballard Ave will ring daily as it did during the shingle mill days.
